Environmental Due Diligence and
Phase I Site Assessments

TRC Raviv prepares Phase I Environmental Site Assessment Reports for commercial and industrial  clients in accordance with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Standard, and Preliminary Assessment Reports pursuant to the  NJDEP’s Technical Requirements for Site Remediation, N.J.A.C. 7:26E et seq.  The purpose of these assessments is to identify potential areas of environmental concern (AOCs) by evaluating activities involving hazardous substances; current and historical site use; existing environmental reports and data; and other historical information.  In addition, TRC Raviv performs a site inspection and conducts interviews with pertinent individuals including state and local regulatory officials.  Based on an analysis of the information collected, TRC Raviv Environmental Site Assessment Reports include recommendations for either a Phase II Site Investigation (i.e., soil and/or ground water sampling), or no further action.  Our Site Assessment Group provides high quality, thorough and detailed assessments designed to limit future environmental liability, satisfy due diligence and innocent purchaser defense requirements, and complete the first step of New Jersey’s site remediation process.
